I completed a PhD in Psychology at York University (2002). Before becoming a Psychotherapist I was a Research Scientist (2001-2009) at Sunnybrook Hospital and Women’s College Hospital as well as an Adjunct Professor at the Department of Public Health Sciences, University of Toronto. During that period of time I also completed a psychotherapy training program at the Toronto Institute for Relational Psychotherapy (www.TIRP.ca). I then became a faculty member at TIRP between 2010-2018.
For the past 18 years I have been working with individuals for 50 minute sessions of psychotherapy. I bring a wealth of education and experience to each session. I offer clinical supervision to training therapists and to therapists who have completed their training. I also offer a 10-week, 30-hour online course to therapists who wish to become Relational Clinical Supervisors. I am currently a clinical member of the Canadian Association for Psychodynamic Psychotherapy.
